In July 2016, two young artists packed some rented sound equipment from Long & McQuade into a motorboat and set out off the coast of Port Medway, Nova Scotia for GreatIsland, where they would be the only residents.

What would a radio transmission from their time spent there sound like? 

As the island starts to dictate the creative process, the two women are caught between domesticity and the natural world as they craft a performance from recipes, folk tales and memories of their maternal grandmothers.
